INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USE OF THE BOOKING MANAGER AGENDA WITHIN THE 'SALON' APPLICATION


Bookings made by customers using the form to be filled in allow an email notification to be sent to the customer and to the salon manager or his employees.

When the manager or one of his employees wishes to enter a new booking himself, he should not use the above-mentioned form, for two reasons:

  1. to avoid receiving an unnecessary email notification when entering a new appointment
  2. to get the full picture at a quicker glance, especially if you use a large computer screen (or at least fin tablet) instead of your mobile phone, by viewing by day, by week, by month or by year.

HOW TO ACCESS THE SALON MANAGER'S AGENDA

You must first be logged in to the website; if you are not:

  • in the web address bar (URL) add the following suffix to the full domain name of the site: /wp-admin and enter (see figure below)

If you are not logged in, a mask will appear for you to enter your login nickname (or login email) and password, as you see in the image below) and click on log in (if you do not remember your password, follow the on-screen instructions (Forgot your password?)

In any case, you will finally be taken to the site administration screen (backend) where you will see the menu band on the left to click on Salon (see figure below).

At this point you have landed in the manager's agenda.

Notice in the top left-hand corner the selector of the 4 types of display: day week, month, year (then you can choose the one you prefer)

Select the day on which you wish to view current appointments: confirmed appointments in green and cancelled appointments in red; also 'pay later' appointments in blue (if enabled) and pending manual confirmation appointments in yellow (if enabled).

HOW THE SALON MANAGER CAN MODIFY AN EXISTING RESERVATION

You can also edit bookings by clicking on the coloured tile (in month view) or directly on the booking (in week view or day view). The screen filled in by the customer (or by yourself previously) will then appear and you can edit it: name, personal details, date, time, services required, etc.

HOW THE SALON MANAGER CAN DIRECTLY ENTER A NEW BOOKING

Select the day and go with the mouse to the desired time and click on the little dowel that appears with the word SELECT

 

A mask will appear where you must click on the + sign

 

 

At last, a new, intuitive booking screen will open; fill in all fields (name, personal details, date, time, 

Then select the required service; if several services are involved, add them by means of the ADD A SERVICE button

Then click on the SAVE button.

 

 

 

The reservation will be entered and you will not receive a confirmation e-mail.
